About
Real insight. Clear answers. Next steps you can trust.
Psychological and psychometric evaluations with me aren’t about throwing labels around or checking off boxes. They’re about understanding what’s really going on—underneath the behavior, behind the emotional shifts, inside the mind and nervous system. Whether you’re a parent looking for answers, a young adult feeling lost, or someone navigating systems that don’t quite see you, this process gives you the clarity and validation you’ve been looking for.
I work with kids (ages 10+), teens, and adults, providing trauma-informed, culturally aware, and compassionate evaluations that go far beyond the clinical surface. These assessments help identify strengths, challenges, patterns, and opportunities for growth—in ways that make sense to the individual and their family.
What You Can Expect
Each evaluation is customized to your needs or your child’s. We’ll start with a thorough intake, gather history and context, and move through a series of evidence-based assessments—cognitive, emotional, behavioral, personality, executive functioning, and more—based on what you’re looking to uncover.
I bring a bilingual, bicultural lens into the process, especially important for Latinx, BIPOC, and first-gen families who’ve been misunderstood or overlooked in traditional systems. And for kids or teens, I create a warm, non-intimidating space where they feel safe, seen, and engaged—not like they’re being tested, judged, or pathologized.
Depending on the purpose, we may assess:
ADHD, Autism Spectrum traits, executive functioning
Learning differences, academic readiness, or processing challenges
Emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms
Behavioral patterns, social skills, identity development
Personality dynamics and attachment
Readiness for therapy, IEP/504 support, medication referrals, or treatment planning
Support for transitions (school, family changes, military family dynamics, etc.)
Who I Work With
Children (10+) and teens showing signs of struggle at home or school
Parents and caregivers seeking insight into their child’s behavior, emotions, or learning style
Adults and young adults looking for diagnostic clarity (ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, etc.)
Latinx and BIPOC families who want an evaluator who understands cultural context
Individuals needing documentation for school, accommodations, court, immigration, or other systems
What Makes My Evaluations Different?
I don’t just deliver a report—I deliver understanding. I translate the data into real language, walk you through what it means, and help you figure out what’s next. Whether you're a parent advocating for your child, or an adult finally naming something you’ve carried for years, this process is about clarity, healing, and power.
And because I’ve been on both sides—as a clinician and as someone who’s walked through these systems—I hold space with empathy, insight, and no judgment.
Your brain and your story deserve to be understood—not reduced. Let’s use this process to get the insight you need, the language that fits, and the tools to move forward with confidence.
